Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Joyfilledjourney handles information when you use our entertainment product, a browser-based Plinko experience that operates entirely with virtual coins. The service is intended for users in Australia (AUS) who are 18 years of age or older. Real money is not used within the experience, and monetary payouts are not provided.

1. Nature of the service

Our site offers a social casino style game designed purely for fun. You play with virtual coins or points that exist only within your browser. The game does not support deposits, wagers with real currency, or any form of monetary withdrawal. Scores, balances, and configuration settings are stored locally on your device to provide a smooth, responsive experience.

2. Data we process

We focus on minimal and proportionate data processing. When you access the site, standard technical information is recorded by typical web infrastructure, such as IP address, device and browser characteristics, timestamps, and pages requested. This information assists with security, diagnostics, and performance measurement. We do not collect sensitive categories of personal information and we do not request payment details.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies that are necessary for basic site functionality and analytics that help us understand aggregate usage. Your cookie preference is stored using the cookie named cookieConsent with values “accepted” or “rejected”. This preference persists for up to 365 days and can be changed by clearing cookies or using browser controls. Some cookies may be session-based while others are persistent for a limited period.

4. Local storage and game state

The game persists your local state using the browser’s localStorage. A key such as plinko_v2 may contain fields like balance, jackpot, bet, risk, balls, lastRound (seed, count, and timestamp), and lastDaily. These entries remain on your device and are never transmitted to our servers by the game logic. Clearing site data in your browser will remove these saved values and reset your experience.

5. How we use information

We use technical and aggregate information to keep the site secure, to assess performance, and to improve reliability. Any optional communications submitted through our contact channel are used to respond to your inquiry and for essential follow-up. We do not sell personal information to third parties. Where service providers assist with hosting or security, they are engaged under appropriate safeguards.

6. Legal basis and location

Processing is carried out for legitimate interests, including providing and securing the service, and for compliance with applicable obligations. The service is operated with reference to Australian considerations. Depending on your location and the nature of your request, additional local rights may apply. We strive to handle data in a manner consistent with reasonable expectations and good practice.

7. Your rights

• Access: you may request confirmation whether we process personal data related to you.
• Correction: you may request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: you may request deletion where data is not required for legitimate purposes.
• Restriction and objection: you may request restriction or object to certain forms of processing.
• Portability: where applicable, you may request a copy of information in a portable format.

To exercise rights or raise privacy questions, contact us at Joyfilledjourney@gmail.com. We may ask for reasonable verification to protect your account or identity. We aim to respond within timeframes consistent with applicable laws and practical constraints.

8. Children and eligibility

The service is intended for adults aged 18+. If you are under the age threshold, do not use the service. We encourage guardians to monitor device usage and to use available platform controls.

9. Security and retention

We employ safeguards proportionate to the nature of the service. Local game data is stored on your device and can be cleared using your browser settings. Server-side logs and analytics are retained for limited periods to support security, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements, legal developments, or operational changes. Material updates will be indicated by revising the effective date or by presenting a notice on the site. Your continued use of the service after an update indicates that you have read the revised terms.
